Certificate of Analysis · 2026

Every batch, independently lab-verified.

Every Swiss Vitalis formula is tested by SC Labs — an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory — for potency, terpenes, pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and mycotoxins. Results are public, batch by batch.

How to read a COA

How to read a COA

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the lab's complete report for a single batch. Here's how to find what matters.

1

Batch number

match this against your label.

2

Total CBD

should match the label claim.

3

Δ9-THC

Full Spectrum: <0.3% (federally compliant). Broad Spectrum: ND (Not Detected).

4

Total terpenes

the unique aromatic signature of this batch.

5

Pesticides / Heavy Metals / Solvents / Mycotoxins

all should read Pass.

6

Sample ID & date issued

for full traceability.

Glossary

Glossary

ND — Not Detected

The analyte was not detected by the instrument at or above its sensitivity threshold (limit of detection).

LOQ / LOD

Limit of Quantification (smallest amount that can be reliably measured) and Limit of Detection (smallest amount that can be reliably detected).

Δ9-THC

The federally regulated form of THC. Industrial hemp products must contain less than 0.3% Δ9-THC by dry weight.

CBDa vs CBD

CBDa is the acidic, raw form of CBD found in the live plant. Heat (decarboxylation) converts it to CBD, the activated cannabinoid most products are formulated around.

Full Spectrum

Contains the full profile of cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp plant, including up to the federally compliant 0.3% Δ9-THC.

Broad Spectrum

Contains the full plant profile with Δ9-THC removed below the limit of detection.

Terpenes

Aromatic compounds responsible for a plant's scent and flavor; they contribute to the entourage effect alongside cannabinoids.

ISO 17025

The international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories — the highest bar for analytical labs.

PJLA

Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation — an ISO 17025 accreditation body that audits laboratories such as SC Labs.
