Terpenes are the aromatic molecules that give plants their scent and flavour. The panel is 39 compounds on every full-spectrum lot we publish, six of them quantified on the current one, and none at all on the gummies, whose certificate carries no terpene panel. The six below are the most prominent on lot 120625.

Certified Laboratories / Labstat, Carrollton, Texas, ISO accreditation L22-753, signed by Jennifer Sawkins on 2 December 2024. Sample CA41107002-003. The 30 mL bottle works out to 5,440.49 mg of CBD against 5,000 declared, and that arithmetic is ours. Water activity and moisture are marked not tested.

- Batch number. Match it against your label. A certificate for a different lot is a document about a different product, however good its numbers are.
- Total CBD. Compare it with the label claim. A small deviation either way is normal; the certificate is what settles it.
- Δ9-THC. Full spectrum sits under 0.3% by dry weight. Broad spectrum reads ND, which is a statement about the method and not a guarantee of absence.
- Total terpenes. The aromatic signature of that lot, and it moves from harvest to harvest. Some certificates carry no terpene panel at all.
- Pesticides, heavy metals, solvents, mycotoxins. Read what each one says, and read whether it is there. Not every certificate carries every panel, and one of the eight here prints no action limits, so nothing on it can be called a pass.
- Sample ID and date issued. One lot can produce several sample IDs, one per collection. They are how the laboratory traces the document back to the material.

LOQ / LOD
Limit of quantification, the smallest amount that can be reliably measured, and limit of detection, the smallest that can be reliably found.
Δ9-THC
The federally regulated form of THC. Hemp products must contain less than 0.3% Δ9-THC by dry weight.
CBDa vs CBD
CBDa is the acidic, raw form found in the live plant. Heat converts it to CBD, which is what most products are formulated around.
Full spectrum
The full profile of cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant, including Δ9-THC up to the hemp threshold.
Broad spectrum
The plant profile with Δ9-THC removed below the limit of detection.
Terpenes
Aromatic compounds responsible for a plant’s scent and flavour.
ISO/IEC 17025
The international standard for the competence of testing laboratories. SC Labs holds it under PJLA accreditation number 87168.
