The wholesale enquiry form

What is collected

Only what you type: company, contact name, role, email address, phone, website, business type, territories, volume, which products interest you, and your message. Nothing is pre-filled from anywhere and nothing is inferred about you.

Why

To answer the enquiry. Wholesale terms depend on territory and volume, so someone reads what you sent and replies. That is the only purpose.

Where it goes

• The form posts to a server function running on Vercel, our hosting provider. Cloudflare provides DNS for the domain and sits in front of that request.
• The enquiry is written to a database hosted by Supabase (a dedicated project used for nothing else) before any email is attempted, so a delivery failure cannot lose it.
• A notification email is then sent to our sales address through Resend, our email delivery provider. Your address is set as the reply-to on that email so we can answer you.

No confirmation copy is sent to you. The email goes to us, not to you, so there is nothing to look for in your inbox or your spam folder. You hear from us when a person replies.

Your enquiry is not sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and it is not used to build an advertising profile. You are not added to a mailing list: the address you give is used to answer this enquiry.

How long

We are still setting a fixed retention period for enquiry records, and we would rather say that than publish a number we do not yet apply. Today records are kept so a buyer who returns does not have to start over. Write to charlesh@swissvitalisusa.com to have yours deleted and we will delete it. When the period is set, it will be stated here and the date above will change with it.

One technical note about IP addresses

The enquiry record does not store your IP address. To rate-limit abuse of the form, the server keeps a keyed hash of the address in a short-lived counter that expires on its own; the address itself is not written, and the hash cannot be turned back into it. Your IP does appear in ordinary server logs, described below.

Analytics

This site loads Google Analytics 4 on every page, with Google Consent Mode set to denied before the tag loads. We run Consent Mode in its advanced form, and it is worth being exact about what that means, because the difference is easy to describe wrongly:

• Before you choose, and if you decline. No analytics cookie is written on your device and no analytics identifier is stored there. Google does still receive a cookieless measurement request from your browser, which carries the ordinary contents of a web request, including your IP address. We cannot describe that as "nothing is sent", and we will not.
• If you accept. Google Analytics writes its cookies — _ga and a per-property _ga_<id> at minimum — and uses them to count visits and see which pages are read. We do not promise an exact number of cookies, because that depends on Google's configuration rather than on this page.

Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation are set to denied even when you accept. This site does not advertise and does not build remarketing audiences, so it does not ask for permission it would not use.

IP anonymisation is enabled on the tag. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device, and clearing your browser data resets it.

Changing your mind

Every page has a Cookie settings control in the footer. Opening it shows your current choice and lets you change it. Declining after having accepted sets consent back to denied and deletes the _ga cookies this site is able to delete from your browser. It cannot delete data Google has already received, and it does not claim to.

Page speed measurement

Separately from Analytics, this site runs Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly pages render for real visitors — the loading, layout-stability and responsiveness figures a browser reports about itself. We use it to find pages that are slow on real connections rather than on ours.

It is worth being exact about how this differs from Analytics, because it does not sit behind your cookie choice:

• It writes nothing to your device. No cookie, no local storage, no identifier kept between visits.
• It sends measurements from this domain, not from a third-party one: the request goes to /_vercel/speed-insights here and is forwarded by our host. What it carries is the page address, the timing figures, and the ordinary contents of a web request, including your IP address — the same information our server logs already record for that page view.
• It runs whether or not you accept cookies, because it stores nothing on your device to ask permission for. If you would rather it did not run at all, we would rather you told us than guessed: write to charlesh@swissvitalisusa.com.

Server logs

Our host records the ordinary things a web server records: IP address, time, the page requested, and the user agent. These are used to keep the site up, to investigate abuse, and to see which automated crawlers read the site. They are not linked to enquiry data.

Cookies and storage, in full

• Google Analytics cookies, written only if you accept: _ga and a per-property _ga_<id>, and any further cookie Google's own configuration adds. This site sets none of its own.
• Local storage, on your device and never sent to us: your age confirmation, your cookie choice, and your language preference.

There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no social media trackers on this site. Page speed measurement, described above, writes nothing here because it stores nothing on your device.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to charlesh@swissvitalisusa.com and we will answer.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you specific rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined there, and we have no financial incentive programme. You will never be treated differently for exercising a right.

Children

This site is for adults of 21 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not quietly rewrite it.
